Salaar goes past the numbers of Baahubali in Hindi, emerges as the 4th highest grossing film of Prabhas in Hindi

Prabhas is the only South actor to deliver five 100 cr films in Hindi markets. Baahubali was the first film of Prabhas to cross the 100 cr mark in Hindi markets. 

Post the success of Baahubali, Prabhas became a Pan-India star and developed a solid fan following. Baahubali 2 was the highest grossing film in Hindi language. The film collected 500 cr just from Hindi markets. 

After Baahubali 2, Prabhas became a bankable star in Hindi markets. After Baahubali 2, Saaho and Adipurush also earned more than 100 cr in Hindi. 

Prabhas’ latest release Salaar had also crossed the 100 cr mark a few days back. Salaar has now surpassed the collections of Baahubali in Hindi markets and has emerged as the 4th highest grossing film of Prabhas in Hindi. 

Salaar has collected approximately 123.50 cr in just 11 days. The lifetime collections of Baahubali in Hindi stands at 118.50 cr nett.

Salaar has collected 644.80 cr gross worldwide. Salaar is all set to beat worldwide collections of Baahubali (650 cr) and will emerge as the second highest grossing film of Prabhas.

Salaar has been a successful film for the makers in Hindi markets. Prashanth Neel who has directed Salaar has also tasted success for 3rd consecutive time across Hindi belts. Prashanth Neel’s previous 2 films, KGF and KGF 2 did unimaginable business in Hindi markets. KGF  had changed the face of Kannada Cinema and KGF 2 took it to another level. KGF 2 collected more than 400 cr in Hindi. 

Salaar is directed by Prashanth Neel and produced by Vijay Kirgandur under his production banner Hombale Films. The film stars Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead roles.
