Ranbir Kapoor’s gangster drama Animal was released yesterday. The film had a very high anticipation amongst the audience. The solid pre-release buzz has helped the film to create havoc at the Box Office.
Despite being an ‘A’ rated film and 200 minutes of runtime, Animal has proved to be a Box Office beast. Animal collected 54.75 cr on its opening day.
Animal is now the biggest Bollywood opener ever in a clash. Animal faced a clash with Vicky Kaushal’s Sam Bahadur.
Animal beat the numbers of Gadar 2 and created history at the Box Office. Gadar 2 had clashed with Akshay Kumar’s OMG 2. Gadar 2 collected 40.10 cr on its opening day.
Golmaal Again was the first film to collect 30 cr on its opening day in a clash. Golmaal Again faced a clash with Aamir Khan’s Secret Superstar.
