Shah Rukh Khan and Rajkumar Hirani’s emotional drama Dunki was released on 21st December. Dunki was amongst one of the most anticipated Bollywood films of the year.
Dunki did not turn out to be a trademark Raju Hirani classic. The film received mixed to negative response from the audience and was labelled as Rajkumar Hirani’s weakest film till date.
Despite its poor content, Dunki has managed to collect a respectable total. Shah Rukh Khan’s stardom, Hirani’s brand value, Christmas Holiday and New Year weekend has helped Dunki to cross the 400 cr mark globally.
Dunki has crossed the 400 cr mark in 12 days. The total 12 days worldwide collection of Dunki stands at 400.40 cr gross.
Dunki has also surpassed the worldwide numbers of Happy New Year (383 cr) and Dilwale (377 cr) and is now Shah Rukh Khan’s 4th highest grossing film worldwide.
