Ranbir Kapoor’s gangster drama Animal was released on Friday. The film had a solid pre-release buzz which helped in posting excellent opening numbers.
Despite getting ‘A’ certificate, having excessive violence and having a runtime of more than 200 minutes, Animal has set the box office on fire.
Animal collected 54.75 cr on its opening day and emerged as Ranbir Kapoor’s biggest opener. The film collected 58.37 cr on its second day. The two days collection of Animal stands at 113.12 cr nett in Hindi languages. Animal has collected 131.07 cr from all languages in 2 days.
Animal has also emerged as the second fastest Bollywood film to cross the 100 cr mark. Animal went past the numbers of Jawan (111.73 cr) and secured the second spot.
