Yash Raj Films is setting the stage for an epic cinematic celebration! In a powerful tribute to two of Indian cinema’s biggest icons, Hrithik Roshan and NTR Jr., the production house has officially announced that the trailer of their much-anticipated action spectacle War 2 will be unveiled on July 25, 2025.
The choice of date isn’t just coincidental. Both Hrithik and NTR are completing 25 years in the film industry this year, and YRF has chosen to honor their stellar careers by aligning the trailer launch with this milestone. It’s a symbolic move that adds depth to what’s already one of the most awaited films of the year.
In its announcement post, YRF wrote:”In 2025, 2 Icons of Indian cinema complete 25 years of their glorious cinematic journey. To celebrate this once in a lifetime moment, YRF marks July 25 as the trailer launch date of WAR 2!! Here’s to the most epic clash of the TITANS!! Mark your calendars.”
War 2, directed by Ayan Mukerji, is the next installment in the expanding YRF Spy Universe, following the success of Pathaan, Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai, and War. This sequel brings together two of Indian cinema’s most beloved stars, Hrithik Roshan, who reprises his role as Kabir, and NTR Jr., who joins the franchise in a much-hyped face-off that fans have long dreamt of.
The film also features Kiara Advani in a pivotal role, adding more star power to an already electric ensemble.
War 2 is set for a grand release across Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil on August 14, 2025, just ahead of India’s Independence Day, promising a patriotic and action-packed treat for audiences worldwide.
