Adipurush is based on the epic Ramayana. This film can be a nationwide sensation as it has people’s emotions connected to it. This film based on Lord Rama and Hanuman can do wonders on the Box Office if it delivers upto the expectations. Adipurush is one the costliest films ever made in Indian Cinema. This Pan-India film is simultaneously shot in Hindi and Telugu and will also be dubbed in Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada.
By looking at the trailer Adipurush looks like a grand saga with visual spectacles. The casting is perfect and everyone fits perfectly in their role. Saif Ali Khan as Udaybhan was a treat to watch in Tanhaji and in Adipurush, he has gone a step higher to play the role of evil Ravana. Prabhas has lived the role of Lord Rama. It would be a treat to watch this epic saga on the big screen. Om Raut’s execution is too good. By looking at the trailer it looks like Om Raut has a winner in his hands after Tanhaji. The trailer has many nostalgic and emotional scenes and we can’t wait to watch Om’s version of presenting those scenes. Om Raut has always presented his characters in a strong and powerful way and in Adipurush he has done the same thing. Subodh Bhave in Lokmanya is one of the greatest performances ever by a mainstream actor in Indian Cinema in the last decade. Ajay Devgn as Tanhaji and Saif Ali Khan as Udaybhan were loved by each and everyone. Adipurush is such a tough film as it has religious sentiments of people attached to it and it looks like Om has done full justice to it. The trailer has many hard hitting dialogues which can turn theatres into the stadium.
The trailer of Adipurush was specially screened yesterday for the fans in Hyderabad. The response for the trailer in preview was fabulous. The cast and crew of the film personally visited to see the reaction of fans.
The buzz and anticipation for Adipurush is very high and can convert into plenty of footfalls if the WOM is positive.
Adipurush was initially going to release on 11th August, 2022 but was postponed later to 12th January, 2023. The makers had released a teaser and it received negative response from the audience for its childish VFX and cartoon treatment given to the product. Then makers finally decided to release the film on 16th June, 2023.
The makers have released many poster till date on several auspicious occasions and the posters have been received well by the audience. A small clip of the song Jai Shri Ram has given goosebumps and we can’t wait to watch this song in the film with electrifying background music.
Adipurush is written and directed by Om Raut. The film is produced by T-Series and Retrophiles. The film stars Prabhas as Lord Rama, Kriti Sanon as Sita, Saif Ali Khan as Ravana, Sunny Singh as Laxman and Devdatta Nage as Hanumana. Ajay-Atul has composed the music and Manoj Muntashir has penned down the lyrics.
Adipurush is all set to release on 16th June, 2023 and we can’t wait to witness the magnum opus on the big screen.
