Ajay Devgn has never disappointed as an actor and the power-packed teaser of Maidaan again proves that. Ajay Devgn plays the role of Syed Abdul Rahim who was the coach on Indian National Football team.
With Maidaan Ajay Devgn takes is back to the golden era of Indian football. Ajay Devgn is an ambitious coach who tries hard to train his players. Ajay Devgn does his eyes do the talking and nails emotional scenes. The teaser ends with a dialogue about unity – Maidaan mei utaarna 11 lekin dikhna 1.

Amit Sharma’s next after Maidaan is a remake of Hollywood film The Intern which stars Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone in the lead roles. The Intern (2015) had Robert De Niro and Anne Hathaway in the lead roles.
Maidaan also stars Priya Mani and Gajraj Rao alongside Ajay Devgn. Maidaan is directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma. The film is produced by Zee Studios, Boney Kapoor, Arunava Joy Sengupta and Akash Chawla. Music is composed by the legendary AR Rahman. The screenplay is written by Saiwyn Qadras. Maidaan is all set to release on 23rd June, 2023.
