The teaser for Shri Ramayan Katha was unveiled on the auspicious occasion of Dussehra, giving viewers their first look at a magnificent new film inspired by the age-old epic Ramayana.

Featuring Dev Sharma and Anjali Arora in the leading roles, alongside Sheel Verma, Nirbhay Wadhwa, and Rajnish Duggal, the teaser elegantly captures the devotion, bravery, and emotions that characterize Shri Ram’s journey.

Emphasizing the central themes of the Ramayana which is dharma (righteousness), sacrifice, devotion, and courage, the film presents these elements in a contemporary cinematic approach. The profound emotional bond between the characters, particularly in the depiction of Shri Ram’s experiences, lies at the heart of the teaser.

With the intention of bringing Shri Ram’s life to the big screen in an unprecedented manner, the film promises a visually captivating and spiritually enriching experience.

Produced by Prakash Mahobiya and Sanjay Bundela, Shri Ramayan Katha is directed by Abhishek Singh, who also penned the story. The screenplay and dialogues are crafted by Sachin Kumar Singh along with Shubham Shah. The cinematography has been done by Kunal V. Kadam, and music composed by Dev & Ashish, featuring lyrics by Jaydev Jonwal and Nandlal Singh.

Director Abhishek Singh expressed that Shri Ramayan Katha is not merely another rendition of the Ramayana, but rather a sincere cinematic journey that merges devotion with magnificence. The team aimed to encapsulate the emotions and spirituality of Shri Ram’s life in a stunning and impactful visual narrative.

Producer Prakash Mahobiya mentioned that this project holds a special place in their hearts. The objective was to create a film that honors Indian traditions while resonating with the current generation. He noted that the feedback on the teaser has been overwhelmingly positive, and the team is optimistic that the film will resonate with audiences when it premieres this December.

Shot in locations across Mumbai, Chhattisgarh, Ayodhya, and Ramoji Film City, the movie has wrapped up its filming and is currently in post-production. Backed by top-notch VFX from Flamingo VFX, sound design by Afterplay Studio, and visual promotions by Post Man Studio, the film aims to hit the screen in 2025 this December.
