YRF’s Spy Universe is the biggest universe in Bollywood. Though the Spy Universe was officially announced with Pathaan, Ek Tha Tiger was the first film in the Spy Universe. The success of blockbusters like Tiger Zinda Hai and War served as inspiration for YRF to forge its own interconnected universe.
War took a record opening and collected more than 300 crores at the Indian Box Office. The on-screen presence of Hrithik and Tiger Shroff was well received by the audiences.
In YRF’s latest release, Tiger 3, a brief glimpse of Hrithik as Kabir was revealed, acting as a teaser and hinting at the intense and dark tone of War 2, anticipated to be the most violent installment in the Spy Universe.
Jr. NTR is roped in to play the antagonist in War 2. The face off between Hrithik and Jr. NTR is going to be epic. The film will be directed by Ayan Mukerji.
The makers have finalized the release date for War 2. The much awaited action entertainer will be released in 2025 on 14th August, during Independence Day Weekend. The film will get a 4 day extended weekend.
With Jr. NTR’s inclusion, War 2 transforms into a proper Pan-India film, set to deliver unprecedented action sequences on a grand scale, ensuring a visual spectacle for the audience and potentially rewriting Box Office history.
