Gumraah is a Hindi remake of critically and commercially successful Tamil film Thadam. The film stars Aditya Roy Kapur, Mrunal Thakur and Ronit Bose Roy. The film is directed by debutant Vardhan Ketkar and produced by T-Series and Cine 1 Studio. The film is written by Sumit Arora and Vardhan Ketkar. The film is all set to release on 7th April, 2023.
The plot of Gumraah revolves around the murder investigation of a young man which takes an unexpected turn when the cops discover that the prime suspect has a lookalike.
Aditya Roy Kapur will be seen playing the double role for the first time in his career. Mrunal Thakur portrays the role of an inspector for the 1st time in her career. Ronit Bose Roy essays the role of an inspector.
