Bollywood superstar Vijay Kumar (Akshay Kumar) needs to obtain a new driving license from RTO officer, Om Prakash Agarwal (Emraan Hashmi), a diehard fan of Vijay. A misunderstanding escalates into a feud which is played out in front of the entire country.
Selfiee is an official Hindi remake of Malayalam film Driving License which was released in 2019. The original film had Prithviraj Sukumaran and Suraj Venjarammoodu in lead roles. Prithviraj Sukumaran played the role of an actor and Suraj Venjarammoodu portrayed the role of an inspector. Here in Selfiee, Akshay plays the role of an actor and Emraan Hashmi plays the role of an inspector. Driving License received positive response and was successful at the Box Office.
Selfiee marks the collaboration of Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi for the very 1st time and we can’t wait to see the epic face-off between these two. This is Akshay Kumar’s 2nd film with Director Raj Mehta after the Super Hit urban comedy Good Newwz.
