Former Bollywood actress Tanushree Dutta, who was at the forefront of India’s #MeToo movement in 2018, has once again spoken out, this time through an emotional and disturbing video posted on social media. In the video, Tanushree is seen visibly distressed, tearfully revealing that she has been enduring years of harassment in her own home. She alleges that unknown people have been banging on her doors and windows for years, and she suspects that even her domestic help may be involved in this ongoing torment.

The actress shared that the continuous harassment has taken a toll on her mental and physical health. She described how she lives in fear and discomfort, with strangers constantly causing disturbances under the guise of offering home maintenance or services. “My health is ruined, my house is a mess,” she said in the video, adding that she has lost peace and safety in what should be her sanctuary. Fed up with the situation, Tanushree confirmed that she has now filed a police complaint and is urging for immediate help and action.

Tanushree also pointed out that her building authorities have not supported her despite repeated requests. She explained that she feels unsafe even stepping out of her house and has not been able to maintain any sense of normalcy. The video has sparked concern among fans and fellow citizens, many of whom are calling for stronger protection and support for the actress.

This recent incident adds to Tanushree’s long-standing battle against harassment, which began when she publicly accused veteran actor Nana Patekar of inappropriate behavior on a film set in 2008. Her revelations back then became a turning point for India’s #MeToo movement. Now, with this new video, Tanushree Dutta is once again drawing attention to the threats and trauma she continues to face, and is pleading for safety and justice.
