The press conference of Filmfare Awards was held in Mumbai. The Bollywood Superstar Salman Khan attended the press conference and spoke about various topics. He said that the biggest reward he has got is love of the audience towards his films. He also said that being a part of this industry from last 3 decades, now it’s time for youngsters who deserve an award.
Salman said, “I’ve always lost (about an award). I was never interested in awards till today. I’m not. I’m interested in the reward. And the reward is what I get from my fans and from you know, the Hindi film going audiences and from the people of our country, the love and the respect that I get. So that is that’s my reward.”
Salman also said, “I mean I have no problem against, I mean they calling this lady Black lady.This award came in my hand once, I went on stage to take the award along with Shah Rukh, Karishma Kapoor was sitting next to me. I told that I’ll come only for the event and not for taking an award or something. I think Helen aunty was getting something at that point of time, and then they got me on stage to get an award. I left it there. I think they have to work. There was one supporting award that was. There was something like that. Yeah, there was something like that. So I’ve never been interested in these awards, because I’ve seen so many of them at home, so many of them at home, and then my dad have no work and coming to you there was a couple of those which were used as a stopper of the door.”
He concluded by saying, “I come here at award show, I perform, I do good or bad but people like it. It’s been years since I have been a part of this industry and I think the young generation should get an award. Why should I get an award? I knows films like Dabangg, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo are good. I don’t want any award. Film has done well on box offce and my people have given me the award already. I guess is this award is given to any youngster then I think a hype is created and his journey is being started. If an award function calls me to perform, I’ll go there and perform, it is my work.”
68th Filmfare Awards will be held on 27th April, 2023. The awards will be telcasted on 28th April on Colors TV at 9 pm. Salman Khan is all set to host this mega event. Tiger Shroff, Jacqueline Fernandez, Vicky Kaushal and Janhvi Kapoor will be seen performing in the event.
