Nowadays we don’t see many double hero films like we used to see earlier in the decade of 90s and 2000s.

Salman Khan in an exclusive interview with us while speaking about his bonding with SRK also spoke about double hero films.

Salman said, “If the bonding is not great, then we can’t see such type of characters or chemistry on-screen (speaking about SRK as Pathaan). My bonding is great with Sanju (Sanjay Dutt) too. I have done many double hero films. I guess I am the only person who has never had a problem in doing double hero or triple hero films from the start of my career. I have done films with each and everyone from the industry who was there at that time. I have worked with Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, Anil Kapoor, Sunny Deol, Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff, Bobby Deol, etc. The younger generation fears doing double hero films and I don’t know why. I have even asked them about the same. Our generation was very secure. We have a better understanding than today’s younger generation. When two actors work together, they both have a separate fan following. Fans of both the actors will come and watch the film which will help in posting good numbers. So it’s my request to these actors that don’t do a double hero film, let your numbers remain the same. Let us do a double hero film, we need them more (said in a funny way).”

The actors of the 80s and 90s decade have worked with almost all the actors of their generation.

Salman has worked with almost all the actors from his generation. He has worked with SRK in Karan Arjun, with Aamir in Andaz Apna Apna, with Ajay Devgn in Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, with Akshay Kumar in Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, with Sunny Deol in Jeet, with Anil Kapoor in Biwi No. 1, with Sanjay Dutt in Saajan, with Jackie Shroff in Bandhan and with Bobby Deol in Race 3.

Salman Khan will be next seen in Vishnu Vardhan’s action film ‘The Bull’. He will be also collaborating with Sooraj Barjatya for a family drama tentatively titled ‘Prem Ki Shaadi’. Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan will be featuring in a two hero lead film produced by YRF which is tentatively titled ‘Tiger vs Pathaan’.
