Saif Ali Khan was admitted to Kokilaben Ambani Hospital this morning around 8 am. He reached the hospital along with his wife Kareena Kapoor.
Saif was admitted for a minor surgery which was pending for a long time. He underwent a tricep surgery for an old injury which got triggered, while he was performing an action sequence for his next film.
It has been learnt that Saif got injured while performing an action sequence for his next film Devara. Devara is a Pan-India film which is made on a big budget and has many action packed sequences. Devara also stars Jr. NTR and Janhvi Kapoor in the lead roles.
Saif got injured in 2017, while shooting an action scene for Vishal Bhardwaj’s Rangoon. Saif had injured his thumb and ankle while shooting the climax scene of Rangoon. He was also spotted wearing crepe bandages at that time.
Saif Ali Khan is recovering well and his surgery was successful. Saif said, “This injury and the surgery that followed is a part of the wear and tear of what we do. I am very happy to be in such amazing surgical hands and thank all well wishers for their love and concern.”
On the work front, Saif will be next seen in Devara. Devara is all set to release on 5th April.
