When the clash between Dunki and Salaar was announced, it was regarded as, the biggest clash ever to happen in Indian Cinema. Usually things start getting heat up after the release, but the clash between Salaar and Dunki has started before the release. There has been a lot of fight for the screens. 

It has been learnt that the makers of Salaar have withdrawn the release of PVR INOX and Miraj group of cinemas in the South states. The makers of Salaar have taken the decision due to alleged unfair trade practices. It has been learnt that Dunki is getting all the preference over Salaar. 

PVR Inox, the largest exhibitor in India have opted for Dunki over Salaar in North India too. The PVR INOX cinema group has allocated all screenings at their single-screen venues to Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki. Advance booking of all these cinemas from Friday onwards have been started for Dunki. 

The reports were Salaar makers had agreed for a 50-50 or even 40-60 showcasing of their film, but Dunki wanted full 100%. Due to this battle, the single screen association took the stand and the advance bookings were put on a hold. 

It is known that Shah Rukh Khan personally spoke to his friend Ajay Bijli over the showcasing of his film and this is how the whole scenario has been changed. 

Dunki is all set to release on 21st December and Salaar is all set to release on 22nd December. The clash between Dunki and Salaar will go down as one of the biggest and the most controversial clashes ever happened in Indian Cinema. 

Dunki is directed by Rajkumar Hirani. The film is produced by Rajkumar Hirani and Gauri Khan. The film stars Shah Rukh Khan, Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal and Boman Irani. 

Salaar is directed by Prashanth Neel of KGF fame. The film is produced by Vijay Kirgandur under his production banner of Hombale Films. The film stars Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead roles.
