Popular actor Shreyas Talpade collapsed due to a heart attack after the completion of his shoot. He was filming for his upcoming film ‘Welcome To The Jungle’ in Mumbai yesterday. 

He collapsed after the shoot and was rushed to the Bellevue Hospital in Andheri and had undergone an angioplasty. 

Shreyas was absolutely fine and joking with everyone on the set during the shoot of Welcome To The Jungle. He also shot an action sequence in which he looked comfortable. When he was at home he felt uneasy and notified his wife Deepti about the same. He was immediately rushed to the hospital, but collapsed on the way. 

It has been learnt that he was admitted in the evening and his angioplasty was performed around 10 pm. The surgery was successful and he is recovering well. The actor will get discharged in 3 to 4 days. 

Shreyas made his debut in 2005 and left a solid impact on viewers with a Classic film like Iqbal where he played a deaf and mute cricketer. Shreyas has been a part of many successful Bollywood films. He has also left his mark in Marathi Cinema. 

He will be next seen playing the role of Atal Vihari Bajpayee in Kangana Ranaut’s Emergency. He is playing a supporting role in multistarrer Welcome To The Jungle which is led by Akshay Kumar.
