Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chaddha got engaged in Delhi Today. The engagement took place at Kapurthala House in Connaught Place.
The guests included Priyanka Chopra, Manish Malhotra, Rajeev Shukla, Aaditya Thackeray, Bhagwant Mann (CM of Punjab and AAP member), Arvind Kejriwal (CM of Delhi)
The engagement followed no mobile phone policy. The mobile phones of the entire event team were submitted at the venue to avoid any leakage of videos or pictures from the engagement ceremony.
Both Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha shared 1st pictures from their engagement on their social media.
Parineeti tweeted by saying, “Everything I prayed for .. I said yes! 💍”
There were strong rumors of Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha dating each other as they were seen together at a restaurant in Mumbai. The couple had also watched an IPL match together.
Around 150 close friends and relatives graced the ceremony. Many top politicians were also seen attending the engagement.
Raghav Chadha is a Chartered accountant and a member of AAM AADMI PARTY. He is also a MP of Rajya Sabha from Punjab. He was also an in-charge for the recently held assembly elections where his party won with a majority. He tweeted today after one of his party members won the poll in Jalandhar by a margin by saying this win has made his day more memorable and special.
Parineeti Chopra will be next seen in Imtiaz Ali’s musical Chamkila opposite Diljit Dosanjh. Chamkila is a biopic of musician Amar Singh Chamkila. She will also be seen opposite Akshay Kumar in Rustom director Tinu Suresh Desai’s Capsule Gill. The film is based on real life hero Jaswant Gill’s life.
