Nawazuddin Siddiqui files a defamation case on his ex-wife Aaliya Siddiqui and brother Shamasuddin Siddiqui. The suit is likely to be heard on 30th March by Justice Riyaz Chagla. Nawaz has seeked a damage of Rs. 100 crores from his brother and ex-wife.
The legal battle between Nawazuddin and his wife had been going on for a long time. Now the actor has requested the Bombay High Court to permanently restrain Aaliya and his brother from making any statements or remarks that would defame him. Nawazuddin has also asked for a written apology from his ex-wife and brother.
Nawazuddin had appointed Shamasuddin as his manager in 2008 and handed over all his financial work to him. Shamasuddin started cheating and defrauding Nawaz and purchased property using the money of Nawaz. When Nawaz came to know that Shamasuddin is doing fraud with him, Shamasuddin instigated Aaliya to file a case against Nawaz. Shamasuddin and Aaliya had misappropriated around 21 crores. Shamasuddin and Aaliya also started blackmailing Nawaz by uploading cheap videos and negative comments on social media.
Reacting to the defamation case, Shamasuddin accused Nawazuddin of multiple things. He accused him of ruining 11 years of his life. He said Nawaz had committed 11 serious offences and had 3 wives and had kicked one of her sisters-in-law during pregnancy. He also said Nawaz has 2 Me Too Cases.
