Actor and security expert Ronit Roy has come forward about a dramatic incident that ensued after Saif Ali Khan was stabbed in January 2025. As Saif recovered from the shocking assault at his Bandra home, his wife Kareena Kapoor Khan also had a harrowing experience of her own. As per Ronit, while Kareena was exiting the hospital after meeting Saif, her vehicle was hemmed in by a huge crowd and was mildly attacked. Although the damage was not much, the incident shook up Kareena visibly and made her worried about her and her family’s safety.
Ronit confirmed that Kareena herself called him shortly after the attack. Disturbed at what had transpired and the general absence of security in and around their residence, she asked for his assistance. Ronit, operator of a private security firm, did not hesitate. His company facilitated Saif’s return home from the hospital safely and started assessing the couple’s residence for any security vulnerabilities.
Throughout the evaluation, Ronit discovered that there were some essential safety precautions missing or not fully effectuated. He explained that there was a degree of security there, but nothing sufficient for a high-profile residence, particularly following such a serious and publicized occurrence. He asserted that most individuals do not understand the significance of security until something goes awry, declaring, “There’s no reason why they weren’t there… but they should have been. These are basics.”
Anchored by this, Ronit and his staff, in association with the local police, arranged in-depth security protocols to provide protection to Saif, Kareena, and their children. The measures were a measure of recovery from the atmospherics of terror and controllessness during a highly emotional and stressful moment for the family.
