Yesterday the news about Ayan Mukerji directing War 2 had made headlines. Today the news about Jr. NTR starring opposite Hrithi Roshan had made War 2 one of the most awaited films in Indian Cinema. With the addition of Jr. NTR, War 2 has suddenly emerged as a huge Pan-India film.
War had made pre-release buzz because of its casting. Tiger vs HR had created immense buzz amongst the viewers and it resulted in huge box office numbers. War had a record opening at the Box Office. War went on to collect 300 crores nett at the Domestic office.
The 1st film in the Spy Universe was Salman Khan starrer Ek Tha Tiger (2012). The universe further saw films like Tiger Zinda Hai (2017), War (2019) and Pathaan (2023). The casting in the previous 2 films has been top-notch. Hrithi Roshan and Tiger Shroff in War & Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham in Pathaan. And in Tiger 3 we will see Emraan Hashmi as an antagonist opposite Salman Khan. And in War 2, Aditya Chopra has gone a step higher in terms of casting. Hrithik vs Jr. NTR will be appealing to not only Bollywood, but also Tollywood. War 2 has become a true Pan-India film with Jr. NTR on board. It would be a huge treat for fans all over India to watch Hrithik locking horns with Jr. NTR. The action battle between these is going to create a huge havoc. The film has just got bigger and bigger with Ayan directing and Jr. NTR acting. Filming of War 2 begins at the end of 2023. War 2 will be now targeting northern as well as southern markets and huge box office numbers are awaited for this biggie. Jr. NTR is already a popular star in Hindi belts because of RRR and War 2 will increase his popularity.
War 2 is the 6th film in the Spy Universe. The characters of Spy Universe include Tiger (Salman Khan), Kabir (Hrithik Roshan) and Shah Rukh Khan (Pathaan). The 5th film of Spy Universe included Tiger 3 which is all set to release during Diwali this year. There’s also another 2 hero action film, Tiger (Salman Khan) vs Pathaan (Shah Rukh Khan) in the line-up.
