In an exclusive interview with us Salman Khan said that he does not take credit if the film works, but takes all the blame if the film fails. He also spoke about the process of film being successful at the Box Office.
While speaking to us Salman Khan said, “I take the blame for a film which doesn’t work. I don’t have any right to take credit for a film which works well. If a film does well it’s because of God’s grace. If a film doesn’t do well, it’s all our fault because we did not work hard. No one else can destroy our film rather than we ourselves. Whenever a person has that ego, no matter how the film has turned out to be but I will make it work on my name, it will never work. When a film doesn’t work, it is only because I have chosen the wrong subject. The credit should be always divided. You’re only a part of that film, but you’re not responsible for its success. The stardom of a superstar can bring audiences only on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, but from Monday onwards it’s director, DOP, co-artist and especially the writers who are responsible for making the film a success.”
The film works at the Box Office due to its good content. We often give credit for a film working at the Box Office only to the actor. There are thousands of people who are involved in making a film. Salman has truly said that the credit should be equally divided amongst all. Each and every person associated with the film is equally responsible for its success.
