Gufi Paintal who was suffering from health issues passed away this morning at 9 am. Gufi was admitted to the hospital on 31st May after the health conditions worsened.
His son Harry Paintal shared a note about the demise of his father. He wrote, “With profound grief we announce the sad demise of our father Mr. Gufi Paintal. He passed away peacefully this morning surrounded by family.”
The death of Gufi Paintal is a huge loss to the Television world.
Few days ago Hiten Paintal, his nephew said that his uncle was suffering from heart issues and had high blood pressure.
The last rites of the actor will take place at a crematorium in Andheri around 4 pm.
Gufi Paintal was also known for his performances in television serials like Akbar Birbal, Kanoon, Om Namah Shivay, Sauda, Karn Sanghini, Jai Kanhaiya Lal Ki, Mrs. Kaushik ki Paanch Bahuein, etc.
He was also a part of the films like Suhaag, Dillagi, Rafoo Chakkar, Maidaan-E-Jung, Des Pardes, etc.
