The entire Kapoor family has a reunion every year where they celebrate Christmas together. Ranbir Kapoor was also a part of the Kapoor family’s Christmas brunch this year. The brunch took place at Shashi Kapoor’s residence.
A complaint has been filed against Ranbir Kapoor in Ghatkopar Police Station for hurting religious sentiments in a Christmas celebration viral video.
In the viral video, Ranbir Kapoor was seen chanting ‘Jai Mata Di’ after liquor was poured on the cake.

The complaint states that, “In Hinduism, fire god is invoked before invoking other deities, but Ranbir Kapoor and his family members deliberately used intoxicants while celebrating the festival of another religion and chanted Jai Mata Di.”
The complaint was filed by a man called Sanjay Tiwari through his lawyers Ashish Rai and Pankaj Mishra. The complainant has demanded to register a case under Sections 295(A), 298, 500 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code. No FIR has been registered for the same.
Ranbir Kapoor broke the internet on the same day when he and Alia Bhatt revealed their daughter Raha’s face to the media. Ranbir Kapoor also delivered a huge blockbuster this month in the form of ‘Animal’.
