Boney Kapoor is one of the leading producers of our country and has given many hits not only in Hindi Cinema but also in Tamil and Telugu Cinema. Boney Kapoor’s last produced Tamil Film was Thunivu which starred Ajith Kumar in the lead role. His next bollywood film Maidaan starring Ajay Devgn will be releasing on 12th May, 2023. Boney Kapoor will also be seen in his acting debut in the film Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar which is releasing next month. Boney Kapoor recently announced a biography on her late wife and legendary actress Sridevi. The Biography is titled as ‘Sridevi – The Life Of A Legend’.

Boney Kapoor said, “Sridevi was a force of nature. She was the happiest when she shared her art on screen with her fans but she was also a fiercely private person. Dhiraj Kumar is who she considered family. He was a researcher, writer & columnist. We are happy that he is writing the book that befits her extraordinary life.”
The book is penned by Dhiraj Kumar who the actress considered family. Dhiraj Kumar said that “I am delighted that the venerable Westland Books will be publishing my debut book. My literary agent, Anish Chandy made this happen. I am thankful for the permission and support of Boney Kapoor and his family, Latha and Sanjay Ramaswamy, Suryakala, Maheshwari and Karthik, Reena and Sandeep Marwah.”
The book draws a complete portrait of legendary actress Sridevi, the quintessential superstar who has an unmatched career in Indian cinema. She worked in over 300 films across 50 years in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, & Hindi. She was conferred the Padma Shri, won National Film Awards, State Government Awards & International Awards.
Sridevi, passed away in 2018 due to accidental drowning in her guest room at a hotel in Dubai.
