Suriya’s critically acclaimed Tamil film Soorarai Pottru is been officially remade in Hindi. Soorarai Porttru was directly released on Amazon Prime Video in 2020. The film received immense praise by the critics as well as audience and is regarded as a Classic film. The remake was announced last year and now today Akshay Kumar has finally announced the release date of this film.
Akshay Kumar’s upcoming film Production No. 27 (untitled) is all set to release on 1st September, 2023. The film also stars Radhika Madan and Paresh Rawal alongside Akshay. Suriya who has starred in the original film and produced this film will be seen in a special appearance in this film. The film is directed by Sudha Kongara who has also directed the original one. The film is produced by Cape Of Good Films, 2D Entertainment and Abundantia Entertainment.

The film tells a story of a young man from a remote village who dreams of launching his own airline service. He overcomes several obstacles and challenges in order to be successful in his quest. This film will be showing the inspirational and emotional journey of this man who sets out to make the common man fly.
Akshay Kumar’s last release was also a remake of Malayalam film Driving License and it did not work at the Box Office. Now all eyes are on this film whether it will work or not.
Apart from Production No. 27 (Soorarai Pottru remake), Akshay also has Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, OMG 2, Capsule Gill and Hera Pheri 3 in the line-up. Radhika Madan was last seen in Kuttey and she will be next seen in Happy Teacher’s Day which is a social thriller.
