Anupam Kher and Satish Kaushik shared a great bond. Anupam Kher was the 1st person to share the news about Satish Kaushik’s demise on social media. After Satish Kaushik’s demise Anupam Kher shared a video on his social media. He looks very upset and emotional while filming the video. He was saying that it’s difficult for him to cope with the loss and he should move on.

In the video he said, “I am talking to all because I want to get rid of my sense of loss of my friend Satish Kaushik. And it’s killing me because 45 years of friendship is very deep and special and you become attached to it, an attachment which you don’t want to leave. From the time he has left us, I was thinking where should I go out for dinner, so I almost picked up the phone to call Satish, I was about to dial him and it’s tough because 45 years is quite a bit of time to be with somebody. We both saw dreams together, we both started our career together in National School of Drama (NSD) in July, 1975 and we sat together and had food together in his house. He came to Bombay first and then I came and with sheer hardwork we reached to this level and achieved success. We also used to get jealous of each other sometimes and also used to fight but we would call each other everyday in the morning around 8-8:30. From yesterday I am not able to concentrate in any work of mine and I thought what should I do and I have to move on, I lost my father and moved on, we do have to move on when we loose somebody because that’s what life teaches us. I thought whatever is there in my mind I should share with you all so I can feel better. So I need to move on, move on in the sense it will never happen that I will be able to deal with it normally, but I think it’s important for me to do things which will make him happy. It’s very difficult but I am trying my friends. Once I post this video I’ll be like I have to now do things, I have to work on scripts, I have to deal with life, I have to make him feel proud and make him feel jealous wherever he is. He will still feel jealous and say you did better than me, but he was a good man. He had strength, he was friend’s friend. Life should go on, so let’s keep life rolling and put this chapter close to our heart. My dear friend Satish Kaushik, I have to move on and you will always stay in my heart. And I am saying this again that I want to talk to all of you because I can take it out my system. Thank You.”
