Aamir Khan and Kapil Sharma were seen together today at the trailer launch event of Punjabi film Carry On Jatta 3 starring Gippy Grewal and Sonam Bajwa.
Aamir was invited as a guest by Gippy Grewal to launch the trailer whereas Kapil Sharma made a surprise visit to the event.
Kapil Sharma is known for the Kapil Sharma Show. Many celebrities have come to the Kapil Sharma show and have promoted their films on the show. The Kapil Sharma Show is one of the most watched shows on television. Due to high TRP, many celebs have promoted their films on the show.
Till date many big celebs have come to Kapil’s show to promote their film but we haven’t seen Aamir attending the show. Aamir Khan is one of those rare actors who doesn’t like to promote his film. Aamir doesn’t need any kind of promotion as his name is enough to generate high footfalls and make his film a big blockbuster. Aamir Khan’s films have strong content which don’t need any promotion.
In the event Aamir expressed his love for Kapil Sharma and said, “I have been spending more time with my family these days. I like to watch something funny every night before going to bed. I have been watching The Kapil Sharma Show for a few months now and I have become a fan of Kapil.I called him a few weeks back to appreciate his comic work.”
Aamir also took a dig at Kapil for not inviting him and said, “I am asking this before he can say anything. I am a step ahead of Kapil. But why was I never invited to be the guest at his show?”
Kapil replied by saying, “It would be our good fortune to have you on our show. I have always met him in the crowd and have always requested him to come to our show. But he used to say that he is going somewhere and will meet once he is back. Cut to, we meet straight after three years.”
Aamir Khan also said, “I would 100% come to your show. But you only call me during the release of my film. I don’t want to come during the release of my film and promote it there. I don’t need any promotion. I would love to come if you just call me entertainment.”
