Amitabh Bachchan got injured on the sets of Project K whie shooting an action sequence. His rib cartilage is broken and suffered muscle tear to his right rib cage.
He gave the update about injury on his blog. He told that he had flown back to Mumbai and CT Scan was done in Hyderabad. Big B tells that it’s painful and will take some weeks for recovery. He also told that he won’t be able to come out of his bungalow Jalsa to greet fans.
While mentioning in his blog Amitabh Bachchan wrote, “In Hyderabad at the shoot for Project K, during an action shot, I have got injured .. rib cartilage popped broke and muscle tear to the right rib cage .. canceled shoot .. did Doctor consult and scan by CT at the AIG Hospital in Hyderabad and flown back home .. strapping has been done and rest been advocated .. yes painful .. on movement and breathing .. will take some weeks they say before some normalisation will occur .. some medication is on also for pain..”
He further added, “So all work that was to be done has been suspended and canceled dropped postponed for the moment until healing occurs ..I rest at Jalsa and am mobile a bit for all the essential activities .. but yes in rest and generally lying around ..”
He concluded by saying, “It shall be difficult or let me say .. I shall be unable to meet, the well wishers at Jalsa Gate this evening .. so do not come .. and do inform as much as you can to those that intend coming.”
Project K is all set to release on 12th January, 2024. Project K is a Big Budget Pan India Sci-fi film. The film is directed by National Award Winner Nag Ashwin who’s last film Mahanati (biopic of popular actress Savitri) was critically acclaimed and commercially successful. The film stars Prabhas, Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan. The film is simultaneously shot in Hindi and Telugu and it marks the debut of Deepika Padukone in Telugu cinema. Disha Patani will also be seen in this film alongside Prabhas, Deepika and Big B. The film is produced by Nag Ashwin’s father in law C. Aswani Dutt (Vyjayanthi Movies). The film is made on an estimated budget of 500 crores.
Apart from Project K, Amitabh Bachchan will be next seen in Ganapath – Part 1, Section 84 and the remake of Hollywood film The Intern.
