Munawar Faruqui emerged as the winner of the show, whereas Abhishek Kumar ended his journey as a runner-up. Both Munawar and Abhishek were amongst the favorites to lift the trophy. Munawar and Abhishek shared a great bond throughout the season which was loved by the fans.
We got a chance to do an exclusive interview with Abhishek Kumar where he spoke about Munawar Faruqui.
Q] Abhishek you have not won the trophy but have won hearts, what would you like to say?
Ans – It really feels nice. It doesn’t feel like that I haven’t won the trophy, it feels like I myself am won. When I came out, I saw many people praising me. The way people are interacting with me and showing great gestures proves that people have liked me a lot.
Q] Did you expect that you would finish in top 2 or you believed that you won’t reach the finale?
Ans – From the very first day I played with the intention of of being a winner. I tried to be very different and played accordingly. I wanted my personality to reflect, so I played like a winner from day 1. It was a great feeling when I finished in top 2. I would have been very disappointed if anyone else except than Munawar would have won the trophy.
Q] Apart from Munawar who was that specific contestant, if would have won, you would have felt very bad?
Ans – Anyone of them, except Munawar would have won, I would have felt very bad. I wished that I would have only won the trophy, but whatever happens, it happens for good only. There is a saying that whatever god does, he does it for our betterment and I believe that there is a lot more in the store for me. Despite not winning the trophy, I won and this is what made me happy.
