Dream Girl 2 is a sequel to Ayushmann Khurrana’s biggest hit Dream Girl (2019).
The 1st half of Bollywood was not good for Box Office. Bollywood only had 3 clean hits in the first half of the year. Pathaan emerged as an All Time Grosser and opened the 400 cr and 500 cr club for Bollywood. The Kerala Story emerged as a historic blockbuster. Zara Hatke Zara Bachke was a Super-Hit and was a huge surprise.
The 2nd half of Bollywood started with Karan Johar’s Hit Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt. Then we had, Gadar 2 creating havoc at the Box Office. OMG 2 being an ‘A-Rated’ film emerged as a Super-Hit at the Box Office.
Ayushmann Khurrana’s Dream Girl 2 also became successful at the Box Office and is witnessing a good trending at the Box Office.
Dream Girl 2 had its target audience as families and youths. The film has connected well with the audience and has emerged as a Box Office success.
Dream Girl 2 has stood tall against the mighty Gadar 2. The numbers which Dream Girl 2 has registered are very good by looking at the current scenario.
Dream Girl 2 has a good chance of entering the 100 cr club. The film will again witness a growth on Saturday and Sunday which will boost its collection.
Dream Girl collected 72.20 cr in its 1st week and Dream Girl 2 has collected 67 cr in its 1st week.

Dream Girl 2 was released on 25th August. The film is directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa. The film stars Ayushmann Khurrana and Ananya Panday in the lead roles along with Paresh Rawal, Annu Kapoor, Rajpal Yadav, Vijay Raaz, Abhishek Banerjee, Manjot Singh, Seema Pahwa and Manoj Joshi.
