OMG was released in 2012 and became one of the most loved Indian films of all time. OMG was a classic film which along with a proper dose of entertainment gave a solid message.
Paresh Rawal and Akshay Kumar were seen in top form in OMG. In OMG, Paresh Rawal plays the role of an atheist who decides to sue god after his shop is destroyed in an earthquake. Akshay Kumar as Lord Krishna helps him fight the lawsuit and expose the corrupt charlatans, his faith is restored.
OMG was an adaptation of Gujarati play Kanji Virudh Kanji. The film received immense praise for its content, story, performances and direction.
OMG was loved by all the ages and was a perfect family entertainer. The film had many hard-hitting and powerful scenes. Paresh Rawal and Akshay Kumar were a riot in the film.
OMG was about God helping an atheist and restoring his faith, and OMG 2 is about God helping and supporting one of his biggest devotees in his difficult times.
11 years later the sequel of OMG is releasing and this time it’s Akshay Kumar and Pankaj Tripathi leading the film along with Yami Gautam.
The OMG 2 trailer doesn’t reveal much, but we are in for a treat. Akshay Kumar plays the role of Messenger of Lord Shiva and nails his part. His dialogue delivery and physical presence looks fabulous.
Pankaj Tripathi plays the role of Lord Shiva’s devotee. Pankaj Tripathi nails each and every role with perfection and same goes with OMG 2. He plays the role of a father with so much ease.
The trailer has superb dialogues along with good comic lines from Pankaj Tripathi. Akshay Kumar has 2 to 3 powerful dialogues which are sure to give you goosebumps.
The song Har Har Mahadev in the background seems amazing.
Yami Gautam looks top notch as a lawyer. Pavan Malhotra gets to play the role of a judge in the film.
OMG 2 just like its prequel seems to be emotional, hard-hitting, entertaining and powerful.
The film was in the headlines for a long time due to its censorship certificate.
The film has now been passed ‘A’ certificate with some necessary changes made in it. The film was targeting the family audience but will now have a limited appeal among the audience due to ‘A’ certificate.
Paresh Rawal has been associated with OMG 2 as a producer. Pankaj Tripathi did not let us feel the absence of Paresh Rawal.
OMG 2 is all set to release on 11th August. The film is directed by Amit Rai. The film stars Akshay Kumar, Pankaj Tripathi and Yami Gautam in the lead roles.
