We at Film Window got a chance to do an exclusive interview with Vikrant Massey for 12th Fail.

Q] Which actor has been your biggest inspiration?

Ans – I have learnt a lot from Irrfan Khan sir. He struggled a lot. He also got respect in his 40s which he deserved. He did theater for so many years. He had immense talent and it was not that the talent came overnight. He had talent when he was doing theater, people took time to recognize his talent. He has inspired me alot. If we talk about sports there are many sportspersons who have inspired me. Rahul Dravid has inspired me a lot. The quality of consistency which he has I really wish to adapt to. I always want to be as consistent as him in life. Atal Vihari Bajpayee sir’s poems have also left a huge impact on me. APJ Abdul Kalam sir has inspired me. His life journey is so inspiring. Mahatma Gandhi and Manmohan Singh have inspired me.

Vikrant further idolizing the legendary actor Aamir Khan said that he has inspired him. Aamir is one of those actors who is admired by many for his craft, passion, hard work and dedication.

Vikrant while speaking about Aamir Khan said, “Aamir Khan has inspired me so much. He has very much inspired me. The kind of cinema which I want to do is inspired by him. I also want that my cinema should have the same impact on people as Aamir sir’s cinema has on people. He has always carried the quality and has made a huge impact. I also wish to do something like that.”

12th Fail is all set to release on 27th October. The film is directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra and stars Vikrant Massey in the lead role.
