Nowadays Bollywood is making many women oriented films which have dull content. Many films have a solid message related to women empowerment. Dhak Dhak is another crap from Bollywood in the name of feminism.

Dhak Dhak is that big boring bike ride which tortures you every second. Dhak Dhak is unbearable from the very first scene and ends up being a big disaster.

Dhak Dhak is a story of four women, who set out for a road trip to the highest motorable pass in the world on their bikes on a journey of self-discovery.

Fatima Sana Shaikh plays the role of Sky who is a biker and a YouTuber. Dia Mirza plays the role of Uzma who has knowledge of bikes and is a wife who is always being dominated by her husband. Ratna Pathak Shah plays the role of Mahi who is a widow and wants to embark on this bike ride and looks at it as a pilgrimage. Sanjan Sanghi plays the role of Manjiri who is very shy, a little bit coward and innocent. The crazy bike ride changes their lives forever.

Acting wise Ratna Pathak Shah tops the chart. Ratna being the senior actor leads the unit with her natural performance. She is an experienced actor and her variations in acting are clearly visible on-screen. Fatima plays the bravest character in the film. She looks super beautiful and nails her part. Dia Mirza has been like a wine which gets better with age. Dia Mirza looks extremely gorgeous in the whole film. Sanjana Sanghi has been given a cowardly and innocent character which hardly leaves any mark. The supporting cast is average. The film had a solid cast but the terrible and pathetic writing has missed a big chance to deliver something outstanding. This lackluster script has wasted the immense talent of this super solid star cast.

Dhak Dhak has a fine similarity with Uunchai. Nowadays trekking and bike riding have been trending alot amongst youngsters. The makers of Uunchai made a film based on trekking by showcasing old age people going on a trek and exploring their lives. Majority of bike riders are males and the makers showed females exploring their lives by going on a bike ride. The basic concept of Uunchai and Dhak Dhak was good, but the writing was very bad. Uunchai was still bearable for its performances, songs and some emotional scenes but Dhak Dhak is totally unbearable.

Dhak Dhak is a long boring never ending stressful ride. The film has the same old shit conversations between women which look unnecessary and repeated.

A woman oriented film should have intelligent conversations, powerful characters and sensible storyline. The makers of Dhak Dhak misunderstood the subject and tried too hard to make it worse.

There is not a single scene which can be enjoyed. The film is shot in beautiful locations, but they look so dull because you’re not in your senses to enjoy them.

The editing, the direction, the dialogues, the songs are below the mark. The film despite being 140 minutes long seems like a torture of 140 hours. There are many dull scenes which could have been easily trimmed to shorten the duration of torture. Each and every scene makes you feel like hell.

The director seems to be confused and clueless. The script was so bad on paper that even a great director would have delivered a bad film.

The writers need a heavy bashing for writing this piece of shit. There is not a single scene which gives justice to film-making. There are many craps which suddenly look good in front of this. The writing of this film is on par with Tiku Weds Sheru which was the worst film of this year.

The songs are situational and just hurt the narrative. The songs act like a sleeping pill which may relieve you from the torture for the time being.

Taapsee Pannu has been delivering poor content as an actress but it was not enough as now she has started delivering crap as a producer too.

Dhak Dhak is a heartless film. This is undoubtedly the worst film in Fatima, Ratna, Dia and Sanjana’s filmography.

Thank You For Coming (based on feminism) which was crap with unnecessarily added cheap humor seemed like a better film in front of this one.

Bollywood is disrespecting women with all these cheap films. Writers and makers are misusing the cinematic liberty to showcase strong women and ate presenting these craps to the audience. These films won’t motivate but instead spoil society. An independent and strong woman should be powerfully presented but these films have completely ruined the image.

If you want to know what torture looks like, Dhak Dhak is the best way to experience it. A normal bike accident harms you physically, but Dhak Dhak harms you mentally. Bollywood should stop making craps on the name of feminism and rather focus on delivering some good content. Skip it.
