Akshay Kumar and Pankaj Tripathi starrer OMG 2 is all set to release this week.
The film has a good buzz among the audience and is amongst one of the anticipated films.
We got a chance to do an exclusive interview with Pankaj Tripathi for OMG 2.
In the interview Pankaj Tripathi said that it was Akshay Kumar who suggested his name for OMG 2 and he is thankful and will be forever grateful to him.
Q] You have worked with Akshay Sir in OMG 2 and he does 3-4 Films every year, so does this motivate you to do more films every year?
Ans- I am doing 5-6 films and I am ahead of him and I feel that I should slow down things (do less films every year as compared to the ones I am doing recently). Akshay sir narrated the story of OMG 2 to me during the lockdown on zoom call and I appreciate him for making this film on such a subject and giving me a chance to be a part of it. I told him that there are very big dialogues to memorize and I won’t be able to do that. In the first meeting I heard the big speech and I told Akshay sir that I won’t be able to do that. He told me that don’t worry sir you will do it and will find some or the other way for you. My director Amit Rai said that Pankaj Ji is confessing that he won’t be able to memorize such big lines. So Akshay sir told him that at least he is being honest, he is not lying just to be a part of this film.
Q] Is it true that Akshay sir suggested your name for OMG 2?
Ans – Yes it’s absolutely true, he was the one who suggested my name and I am thankful to him and will be forever grateful to him.
Pankaj Tripathi plays the role of a hardcore devotee of Lord Shiva and Akshay Kumar plays the role of Lord Shiva’s messenger.
OMG 2 is all set to release this Friday. The film is directed by Amit Rai. The film stars Akshay Kumar, Pankaj Tripathi and Yami Gautam in the lead roles.
