We at Film Window got a chance to do an exclusive interview with Manisha Rani’s sister, Sharika Rani.
Sharika in the interview reacted to the kissing incident between Akanksha Puri and Jad Hadid and said, “Manisha is not that kind of girl who would publicly kiss any guy on television in front of everyone.”
Q] When the kiss incident between Jad Hadid and Akanksha Puri happened, Salman Khan said one thing for Manisha that the discussion was about French kiss and Manisha said I would kiss on forehead or will keep a handkerchief in between and won’t kiss away directly. She also talked about Indian culture and said, if we do such a thing we won’t get an entry in Bihar. So what would you like to say on this?
Ans – If we talk about culture, you should realize on what platform you are and what kind of reality show it is. This is a reality show which is watched by parents, kids and grandparents. The show is being watched by every age group. Kissing on-screen is not right. Manisha is not that kind of girl, if you are friends or something you will kiss directly. Our family is very strict. We belong to a joint family. Manisha won’t even think of doing such a thing and that too on a television show in front of everyone. Manisha is not that kind of girl and won’t do such a thing.
Q] As an audience at that time what Manisha was doing seemed to be very forceful to people on social media. She shouldn’t have kissed passionately while holding him tight. Abdu even said this in the interview. What would you say?
Ans – Yes definitely. I agree. Manisha whenever loves a person she loves that person freely and unconditionally. Whenever we all siblings sit together kissing someone tightly or hugging a person is not her way. If she had to be touchy or would have to kiss, there are many contestants and because Jad is like a brother to her, she wanted to put her opinion in that way. She wanted to make the video because she is funny, she did not have any bad intentions. She did not think of what people would think outside of the kissing thing. She behaves the way she is. So people really think wrong about it. If Manisha wanted to be touchy, she could have been touchy with many others. Manisha knows her limit is who can take the joke as mere fun and who can take it seriously.
