Nitesh Tiwari is one of those directors who is yet to make a bad film. Nitesh Tiwari has directed very good films like Chillar Party and Bhootnath Returns. He has directed Masterpiece Dangal and Classic Chhichhore.
When the film was announced, expectations were very high from Bawaal, as we saw the name of Nitesh Tiwari on board.
Nitesh Tiwari is known for making films for society and which change the perspective of people. His films Dangal, Chhichhore, Bhootnath Returns and Chillar Party had a good social message for the viewers.
Bawaal trailer is a big letdown. After watching the Bawaal trailer, one thing is sure that this is not the Nitesh Tiwari which we are aware of.
Bawaal seems to be a story which is landing nowhere. Varun Dhawan is overacting in all the scenes and his dialogue delivery seems to be so irritating. Janhvi Kapoor looks gorgeous but her acting does not. The Bawaal pair looks not so Bawaal. Varun and Janhvi are pairing for the first time and it seems that the duo will disappoint us big time.
The trailer doesn’t have any scene which stays with you and makes you excited for the project. There are a lot of scenes which look childish and give us vibes of a sureshot crap or an average product.
Varun Dhawan is a teacher named Ajay Dixit who wants to marry a good-looking girl named Nisha (Janhvi Kapoor). The couple decides to go to Europe for their honeymoon. The love story is set in the backdrop of the war.
The comic timing, emotional scenes, love story, etc. looks so bad on-screen. The ending scene of the trailer where Varun is eating Khakhra is so badly presented and looks like low grade film-making.
The teaser of Bawaal did not impress the viewer much.
The makers had released the first song titled ‘Tumhe Kitna Pyaar Karte’ a couple of days ago. Arijit Singh gave his voice for the song. The song was received in a positive way by the audience. The makers had unveiled another song titled ‘Tum Jo Mile Toh’, which also looks good. The only thing in which Bawaal won’t disappoint is, its music.
Thankfully Bawaal is directly coming on OTT. Audiences are lucky enough that they won’t have to witness this crap on the big screen.
We hope Nitesh Tiwari has something for us in the final product and delivers something decent which doesn’t tamper his goodwill. Bawaal trailer is surely a big disappointment, which we never expected from Nitesh.
Bawaal will be directly streamed on Amazon Prime from 21st July. The film is directed by Nitesh Tiwari. The film is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and Nitesh Tiwari. The film stars Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor in the lead roles.
