Bollywood has been going through a tough phase. In 2023, before the release of Zara Hatke Zara Bachke there were only 2 clean hits in Bollywood. Pathaan and The Kerala Story not only emerged as clean hits but also became All Time Blockbusters at the Box Office. Pathaan not only emerged as an All Time Blockbuster but also became an All Time Grosser. Pathaan was the 1st Bollywood film to cross 400 cr, 450 cr and 500 cr at the Box Office.
Pathaan had a sky high buzz and was one of the most anticipated Bollywood films. SRK made a comeback after 4 years and people were waiting to see him in an out and out action entertainer. The film also had Deepika Padukone, John Abraham and Salman Khan (in a special cameo).
The Kerala Story had already made healines and had a bold and controversial subject which made people come into the theaters in large numbers. The film had no big production value, no commercial elements, no big names, etc. but it had that strong content which attracted the viewers.
Many trade experts were predicting that Zara Hatke Zara Bachke will be a super flop at the Box Office. The trade experts suggested film’s lifetime collections in the range of 20-25 cr. The film went on to collect double the predicted collections and emerged as a clean Hit.
Zara Hatke Zara Bachke emerged as a 3rd Clean Hit for Bollywood in 2023. In this year, there were many big films which did not emerge as clean hits at the Box Office like Kartik Aaryan’s Shehzada, Akshay Kumar’s Selfiee, Ranbir Kapoor’s Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, Ajay Devgn’s Bholaa and Salman Khan’s Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan.
Zara Hatke Zara Bachke has been a surprise hit. The film has till date collected 53.55 cr at the Box Office. The film is still going strong and is all set to collect 65 cr+ in its lifetime collection. The film collected 37.35 cr in its first week and 16.20 cr in its second weekend.
Zara Hatke Zara Bachke had an entertaining storyline and good content which made people go to the theaters. The film had excellent comedy scenes and an emotional story which told the hardships faced by middle class people to have a house of their own. The film gave the definition of a house and explained the importance of a family in a quirky and entertaining manner.
Zara Hatke Zara Bachke has a free run of more than 4 days until another biggie, Adipurush releases. If Adipurush fails to attract the audience, then Zara Hatke Zara Bachke will go on doing more business at the Box Office.
Zara Hatke Zara Bachke was released on 2nd June. The film’s title and release date was announced 15 days ago and the film broke all the myths and emerged as a Clean Hit at the Box Office.
