Press conference of Prime Video’s upcoming series Citadel took place in Mumbai today. Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden were present at the event.
The Indian version of Citadel is also in the line-up. Raj & DK are going to create an Indian version of Citadel. The show stars Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the lead roles.
Priyanka Chopra was asked about the Indian version of Citadel and have a look at what she said about it.
When asked about what advice she would like to give Varun and Samantha she said, “I don’t think so I can give any advice as they are both such accomplished actors in their own way. There is nothing I can say. I met Varun recently at the NMACC event and he was telling me how the shoot is going and how exciting it is. There are some really cool threads that connect the other installments and our installments. You will find it out after you start watching it and realize how we are all connected to each other.”
Priyanka while sharing thoughts abouts Raj & DK said, “It is really fun and I cannot wait to see how DK and Raj the filmmakers are so amazing. They are so talented and that they are going to bring their own spin to it in the Indian installment.”
Richard Madden also shared his thoughts about the same and said, “They are absolutely talented in the Indian version. Each one of them is going to bring its own flavor and I am really excited about it.”
The vice president and country head of Prime Video confirmed the Spy Universe of Citadel. It will begin with the USA, Italy and India.
There’s also good news for the fans of The Family Man and Farzi. The Indian Version of Citadel has some connection with The Family Man and Farzi.
First 2 episodes of Citadel will be out on 28th April only on Prime Video. Have a look at the trailers below:
