Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden were seen together today at the Asia Pacific Press Conference for their upcoming spy-thriller series Citadel in Mumbai. The event took place on a grand scale at a 5 star hotel.

Priyanka Chopra came to India on Friday with her husband Nick Jonas and daughter. She was also seen at the inaugural event of Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre along with Nick.

Today at the press conference while asking about what has become non-negotiable for Priyanka while choosing projects she answered by saying, “I think for me what would be non-negotiable now – it’s actually really true. I can’t work with people I don’t like anymore. It’s really non-negotiable for me. I have to admire, look up to, like the people I am surrounded with. I have been doing this for a very long time. I want to be excited about going to work, I want to be inspired about going to work, and that has become non-negotiable for me.”

She further added by saying, “So when I meet the people I am going to work with, I take notes, in my little. But that truly is something that, as I have evolved, has become truly important to me.”

Few days ago Priyanka was in the headlines after she revealed some shocking facts about the politics in Bollywood. She said in her podcast that she was being cornered in the industry and she had beef with people and was not being cast in films. She was tired of the politics in the industry and needed a break.

Today when she was asked why she spoke about her past after a long time she answered it by saying, “I think, first of all, when I was on the podcast I was asked about the journey of my life. And, I spoke about when I was young when I was 10, 15, 22, 30, 40 or whatever…So I was talking about the truth of my journey and now because I was confident enough to talk about that phase of my life.”

She further added by saying, “I think now where I am… I was okay enough to kind of articulate what I felt. I had a very tumultuous relationship with…what occurred, I forgave, moved on a long time ago and then I made my peace with it. I think that’s why it was easy for me to talk about it in an open manner in a safe space.”

Priyanka Chopra’s upcoming big budget series Citadel will be out on 28th April on Prime Video. Only the first 2 episodes will be out on 28th April. New episodes will follow every Friday until 26th May. The show is created by Russo Bros. (Avengers: Endgame fame).
