Popular Bollywood Actor Tiger Shroff turns 33 Today. Tiger Shroff aka Jai Hemant Shroff was born in Mumbai and is son of popular Bollywood actor Jackie Shroff. Tiger Shroff is best known for his dancing skills and eye pleasing action sequences. Tiger doesn’t uses any body doubles and performs all the martial arts and action sequences on his own.
Tiger Shroff made his debut with Heropanti in 2014. Heropanti also marked the debut of Kriti Sanon. Heropanti collected around 50 cr nett at the Domestic box office and was declared a hit.
Tiger established himself as an action star with his 2nd film Baaghi which released in 2016. People loved Tiger in Baaghi and the commercial success of the film led to the Baaghi franchise. Baaghi 2 was released in 2018 and Tiger got his 1st Blockbuster film. Baaghi 2 collected around 160 crores nett at the Domestic Box Office. In 2019, Tiger was seen opposite Hrithik Roshan in Siddharth Anand directorial War. War turned out to be the biggest blockbuster in the careers of Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff. In between there were some films of Tiger which didn’t do well on Box Office and were criticized for its weak presentation and cringe story. A Flying Jatt, Munna Michael, Student Of The Year 2 and Heropanti 2 bombed at the Box Office. Baaghi 3 was the last theatrical release before the Covid-19. Had Covid-19 not been affected, Baaghi 3 would have been a successful affair at the Box Office. Still it managed to collect around 90 cr at the Box Office. Tiger has managed to create himself as a bankable star.
Tiger will be now seen in 2 upcoming biggies this year. Ganapath, an action thriller also starring Amitabh Bachchan and Kriti Sanon, will be released on 20th October, 2033. Ganapath is directed by Vikas Bahl and is said to be India’s first dystopian and futuristic action thriller film. Ganapath is a big budget flick which involves heavy VFX and CGI because of the futuristic concept. The film is produced by Pooja Entertainment. The second film of Tiger releasing this year is Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. Bade Miyan Chote Miyan is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and marks the 1st collaboration of Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff. We can’t wait to witness 2 of the greatest action stars in this action entertainer. Bade Miyan Chote Miyan will be released during the Christmas period and is set to clash with Shah Rukh Khan and Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki at the Box Office.
