Love Gill has found support amid the controversy surrounding her equation with ScoutOP on Bigg Boss 20, with former contestant Isha Rikhi speaking out against the criticism directed at her. Isha, who was previously a part of the reality show, has questioned the tendency to hold Love solely responsible for the situation, pointing out that Scout had also spoken about being confused about his feelings. She believes the singer deserves to have her side of the story heard instead of being subjected to judgements about her character.
The controversy intensified after Scout’s girlfriend, Kaashvi Hiranandani, entered the house during Weekend Ka Vaar and questioned the nature of his closeness with Love. Kaashvi expressed her discomfort with their interactions and accused Love of manipulating Scout. The confrontation left Love visibly distressed, with the contestant later expressing concern about the impact the allegations could have on her reputation and career.
Reacting to the developments, Isha shared a post in which she explained why she felt particularly affected by the situation. Having experienced life inside the Bigg Boss house herself, she said she knew both contestants and found it difficult to watch the way Love was being treated. Expressing her disappointment, Isha wrote, “Main Bigg Boss ke ghar ka hissa reh chuki hoon aur Love aur Scout, dono ko jaanti hoon. Isliye Love ke saath jo ho raha hai, wo dekhkar mujhe genuinely bahut bura lag raha hai.”
Isha also pointed out that Scout had spoken about his own confusion regarding his feelings, questioning why the criticism appeared to be directed primarily at Love. Highlighting what she considers an unfair approach to the controversy, she wrote, “Humne dekha ki Scout bhi apni feelings ko lekar confused tha aur usne bhi apni feelings ke baare mein baat ki thi. To phir sirf Love ko hi kyun blame kiya ja raha hai?”
She further highlighted how easily a woman’s reputation can be affected when a personal equation becomes a subject of public discussion. According to Isha, people should make an effort to understand the circumstances from both sides before drawing conclusions about someone’s intentions. Emphasising the consequences of such allegations, she stated, “Kisi ladki ke character par sawaal uthana aur uski reputation ko hurt karna bahut aasan hota hai, lekin humein yeh bhi samajhna chahiye ki uski side ki story kya hai.”
While extending her support to Love, Isha clarified that she was not suggesting that the contestant was entirely right in the situation. Instead, she urged viewers to approach the matter with greater understanding rather than immediately passing judgement. Concluding her message, she added, “Usko bhi samajhne ki zaroorat hai, judge karne ki nahi.”
Isha Rikhi, a Punjabi actress and model, was also a contestant on Bigg Boss 20 but her journey came to an end following her eviction on September 27. She has since spoken about her experiences on the show and the scrutiny surrounding women’s personal lives.
Her latest remarks come at a time when the controversy involving Scout, Love and Kaashvi continues to generate discussion among viewers.
