Krishna Shroff made an appearance at a celebrity gathering in Mumbai on Monday evening, October 19, as social media influencer Mr Faisu and Tanya Siddiqui hosted their wedding reception. However, her presence came amid concern surrounding her brother Tiger Shroff, who was caught up in a firing incident in Mumbai’s Juhu area a day earlier.
The reception witnessed several familiar faces from the entertainment industry coming together to celebrate the newlyweds. Krishna was accompanied by model Erika Packard but appeared to be in no mood to interact with the paparazzi. Instead of stopping for photographs, she made her way towards her car after attending the celebration.
For the occasion, Krishna opted for a teal green lehenga paired with a pink blouse and a matching dupatta. She completed her traditional ensemble with makeup and accessories, putting together an elegant look for the evening.
As Krishna was leaving the venue, photographers approached her and attempted to get an update on Tiger’s condition following the shooting incident. However, she chose not to address questions concerning her brother’s health. She responded with a brief “Thank you!” before leaving, without sharing any further details.
The incident involving Tiger took place on Sunday evening, October 18, when unidentified motorcycle borne assailants allegedly opened fire at his car in Juhu. The actor was returning from a football outing when the shooting occurred. His driver sustained injuries, while Tiger escaped the attack.
Reports stated that Tiger took charge of the situation and drove towards the hospital after his driver was injured. The incident prompted concern across the entertainment industry, with several people expressing their support for the actor and his family.
Meanwhile, Tiger’s father, veteran actor Jackie Shroff, was also seen making a public appearance on Monday at an event in Mumbai organised to honour late singer and composer Bappi Lahiri. Actor Suniel Shetty and Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis were among those present.
The police have launched an investigation into the firing incident, and the accused have reportedly been arrested. Tiger has not yet issued a detailed public statement about the incident.
