Bigg Boss 20 witnessed another interesting captaincy battle as the contestants fought it out for the coveted position. The task brought several twists and eliminations, with the housemates getting an opportunity to use strategy as well as their connections to make their way ahead in the competition.
Uditi Singh has now emerged as the new captain of the Bigg Boss 20 house. The captaincy task saw Mahhi Vij, Gullu, Yung DSA and Uditi Singh emerge as the contenders in the race for captaincy. The competition eventually came down to the final contenders, with Uditi managing to beat the others and secure the captain’s position.
The task revolved around a doll, with Bigg Boss asking the female contestants to immediately grab it whenever the buzzer was pressed. The contestant who managed to pick up the microphone first became the doll’s voice and got the authority to assign different tasks to the male contestants. The female contestants could also use the doll multiple times during the task, making each round crucial for those competing for captaincy.
The first round saw Lovepreet take control of the microphone. She assigned Qazi Touqeer a series of hilarious punishments before eventually eliminating him from the captaincy task. Lovepreet once again took charge in the second round and made Gullu perform a set of funny dares. Aman was eventually eliminated from the race.
The third round saw Lovepreet continue her strong run as she commanded Yung DSA to perform pool related tasks. The round ended with Gullu being eliminated from the task. However, Yung managed to survive and continued his journey towards becoming a captaincy contender.
The fourth round brought Arishfa into the spotlight as she grabbed the microphone and assigned makeup related tasks to Mahhi. The round also saw Scout OP’s elimination from the captaincy race. In the final round, Lovepreet once again got hold of the microphone and assigned a task to Aasif Khan, eventually leading to his elimination.
After the different rounds and eliminations, the captaincy contenders were narrowed down to Mahhi Vij, Gullu, Yung DSA and Uditi Singh. The four contestants then battled it out for the coveted position, with Uditi eventually emerging victorious.
Uditi’s captaincy comes at an important point in the game, especially with the dynamics inside the Bigg Boss 20 house constantly changing. With the new captain now in charge of the house, it remains to be seen how she handles the responsibilities and how the other contestants react to her new position.
