The ongoing discussion around Govinda, Sunita Ahuja and Komal Rani Swarnkar has taken another turn, with Kashmera Shah now publicly voicing her support for Sunita. The actress took to Instagram and shared a strongly worded post while referring to the recent remarks made by Komal.
The controversy resurfaced after Komal addressed the criticism surrounding her amid speculation about her equation with Govinda. In her social media post, Komal spoke about Sunita and made a serious allegation against the actor’s wife. She wrote, “Jo aurat apne hi pati ko salon se jaan se marne ki koshish kar rahi ho aisi auraton ki badduayen kisi ko nhi lagti. Nobody ever can be a homebreaker in already broken house.”
Komal also questioned the narrative surrounding her and appeared to object to being portrayed as someone responsible for disrupting Govinda and Sunita’s marriage. The actress revealed that throughout her three decade long career, she had not shared intimate details of her personal life with her co stars. Kashmera wrote, “Since the beginning of my career, 30 years and 50 films in total not “one co star” of mine knew anything about my personal life or feelings. The only person I told everything to was the person I married @krushna30. I have never heard of such a bond in a work environment where a co worker knows such intimate details.”
Kashmera then shifted her focus towards the criticism that women can face when they are perceived as being protective or outspoken about their families. She described herself as a strong woman and said she had married into a family of strong women.
She wrote, “I know I am a strong woman and I married into a family of strong women. We are often called RUDE OBNOXIOUS DOMINATING FOCUSSED SELFISH just because we look out for our families but this is the first time we are called “murderers”.”
The actress continued her message by making it clear that she would not distance herself from supporting women who protect the people they consider family. Kashmera wrote, “So if every mother,wife, sister, aunt and their dogs are called murderers for protecting the “one man” that they love, be it the father, the husband, the brother, and the dog then so be it.”
Kashmera concluded the post by directly addressing Sunita and extending her support to her amid the controversy. She wrote, “I am proud that you are such a woman @officialsunitaahuja and I will always stand by you.”
