The statement also mentioned that Arishfa was repeatedly referred to as “bacchi hai”, “game ke rules nahi pata” and “Twinkle Twinkle”, which her team described as attempts to provoke her. According to the note, the argument subsequently became personal, with phrases such as “yahin patak ke phenk dunga”, “thappad maarunga” and “ladki touch karegi toh phaad dunga” being used.
The complete statement shared by Arishfa’s team read:
“Ek baat bilkul clear honi chahiye – game mein disagreement hona normal hai, lekin disagreement ke naam par kisi ladki ki dignity aur respect compromise nahi honi chahiye.
Arishfa ko baar-baar “bacchi hai”, “game ke rules nahi pata”, “Twinkle Twinkle” jaise comments karke provoke kiya gaya. Uske baad argument personal hua aur “yahin patak ke phenk dunga”, “thappad maarunga”, “ladki touch karegi toh phaad dunga” jaise words use kiye gaye.
Sawaal simple hai –
kya kisi bhi argument mein ek ladki ke liye aisi language acceptable honi chahiye?.”
