Akanksha Chamola recently opened up about her decision to not have children during her marriage to actor Gaurav Khanna. The actress spoke about the subject with a rather candid and humorous take during her appearance on a podcast with Hauterfly.
During the conversation, Akanksha was asked why she did not want to have kids with Gaurav. Responding to the question, she jokingly said, “Deti thi main, Main deti toh thi, bachhe nahi de rahi thi sirf.” Her response left her laughing as she explained the situation in her own light hearted manner.
When the host went on to ask what made her reluctant about having children, Akanksha gave an unexpected answer. She said, “Dudh nahi aaraha. Mujhe Aisa lagta hai Dudh nahi aaega.” The host then pointed out that milk production would happen after having a child, to which Akanksha admitted, “Ye Mujhe nahi pata tha.”
The conversation then moved towards whether her decision could change if she were to marry someone else in the future. Akanksha immediately made it clear that marriage itself was no longer something she wanted. She said, “Arre par shadi hi nahi kar rahi hoon.”
Akanksha further revealed that she does not see herself getting married again going forward either, making it clear that she is not considering marriage or having children as part of her future plans.
