Prime Video is set to take viewers back into the ruthless world of power, strategy and survival with the second season of Rise and Fall. The streaming platform has now released the first look at the upcoming season, which will see former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag stepping into the host’s chair.
The promo introduces Sehwag in a setting far removed from the cricket field. Known for his candid personality, quick humour and fearless approach, the former cricketer will make his streaming debut with the reality series. His presence is expected to add a different energy to a format built around shifting power dynamics and unpredictable turns.
Rise and Fall Season 2 will once again divide its contestants between two very different worlds. Fifteen celebrities will enter the competition as either Rulers or Workers, with the two groups occupying the lavish penthouse and the basement respectively. Their positions will not remain fixed, as every decision and strategic move could alter the balance of power.
The contestants will have to navigate alliances, rivalries and challenges while dealing with the advantages and limitations attached to their respective positions. Money will also play a crucial role as the participants attempt to strengthen their position and stay in the game.
With power capable of changing hands at any moment, the second season will put the contestants’ judgement, strategy and ability to anticipate their rivals to the test. And with Sehwag leading the game, the upcoming season promises another unpredictable battle where knowing when to make a move could prove just as important as the move itself.
