Shalin Bhanot seems to have found himself back in the Bigg Boss conversation, even though he is no longer a part of the current season. The actor and former contestant recently addressed the growing comparisons being made between him and contestants who have entered the show in subsequent seasons.
The latest comparison emerged after Qazi Touqeer’s heated confrontation with Yung DSA in Bigg Boss 20. The altercation quickly caught the attention of viewers, with some drawing similarities between Qazi’s behaviour during the argument and Shalin’s much discussed face off with MC Stan during Bigg Boss 16.
While such comparisons are fairly common among Bigg Boss viewers, Shalin appeared amused by the fact that his name continues to become part of discussions every time a new season arrives. Reacting to a video about the comparisons, he questioned how he manages to get associated with the show even years after his own stint came to an end.
Shalin Bhanot also pointed out that this is not the first time fans have compared him with someone from a newer season. According to the actor, almost every edition of Bigg Boss somehow brings another contestant who gets compared to him. Sharing the video on his Instagram Stories, Shalin addressed the recurring trend and said, “Ye har baar jab Bigg Boss chalu hota hai toh main kahan se aa jata hoon? Main Bigg Boss 16 mein tha, par main har season mein kahin na kahin se jud hi jata hoon. Har ek season mein mujhe kisi na kisi se compare karte hain.”
The comparisons with Qazi come at a time when Bigg Boss 20 has been generating plenty of discussion among viewers because of the contestants’ personalities and frequent disagreements inside the house. Qazi has already found himself involved in moments that have sparked reactions online, including his clash with Yung DSA.
For Shalin, however, the repeated comparisons appear to have become a familiar part of his association with the reality show. Despite having participated in Bigg Boss 16, his stint continues to be brought up whenever viewers spot a contestant displaying traits or getting involved in situations that remind them of him.
His latest reaction also shows that Shalin is well aware of how closely audiences continue to analyse contestants across different seasons and connect their actions with memorable moments from the past.
