Asim Riaz and Vishal Aditya Singh’s ongoing war of words has now found its way into the middle of a heated social media debate. The two actors have exchanged strong remarks after Vishal spoke about Asim during a recent podcast, following which Asim responded publicly. What has caught attention, however, is the reaction from netizens, with several social media users now questioning Asim’s response and claiming that he misunderstood what Vishal actually said.
After Asim hit back at Vishal and even suggested that he needed a psychiatrist, netizens came out in support of Vishal and criticised Asim for his reaction. One social media user pointed out that Vishal had not actually said anything offensive about him during the podcast. The user wrote, “I don’t get what is wrong with this podcast… he didn’t say anything bad about you at all.” The same user added, “The person who needs psychiatrist is you.”
Another netizen shared a portion of what Vishal had reportedly said during the podcast and argued that the actor had, in fact, taken Asim’s side while discussing the controversy surrounding Himanshi Khurana. The user wrote, “Ohh my god he literally took your side” before quoting Vishal’s comment, “Agar in Dono ka itna acha relationship raha tha tou himanshi ko WO sab podcast mein Nahi bolna chahya Tha.” The user further clarified that Vishal had only said that he and Asim were no longer friends, rather than calling him an enemy.
“About friendship he just said we are not friends neither enemies nor friends just that,” the post read, before concluding, “Kesy insane ho yaar.”
Another social media user claimed that Vishal still considers Asim a good friend and suggested that his comments came from feeling hurt rather than hostility. The user wrote, “Vishal genuinely considers you a good friend. He was only upset bcz you haven’t been in touch with him. I feel he is hurt that you haven’t responded to his messages or met up with him since Bigg Boss.”
Asim’s reference to a psychiatrist also became a major point of discussion. One netizen wrote, “You need a psychiatrist for anger mgmt ..! Check karo what he said,” asking Asim to revisit Vishal’s actual comments before reacting.
Another user took an even stronger stance against Asim’s attitude and questioned what he had achieved since his Bigg Boss 13 stint. The tweet read, “Bro what’s with this attitude? What have you achieved in life after BB13? Even people who’ve won Oscars don’t talk like this. Get a life and you need at psychiatrist for sure.”
The reactions come after Asim publicly slammed Vishal for speaking about him on podcasts and in the media. Asim also brought up Vishal’s infamous pan incident involving his former girlfriend Madhurima Tuli during Bigg Boss 13.
With several netizens now arguing that Vishal’s comments were not intended as an attack on Asim, the focus has shifted from the original podcast remarks to Asim’s reaction. The social media discussion continues to grow as fans debate whether the actor’s response was justified or an overreaction to Vishal’s comments.
